Trump's morning tweets smell of desperation.

Man he can never leave this Hillary thing alone.

At this point it seems pathological.

It's almost like he wishes he had lost the election so that he could spend all of his time trolling Hillary and the Democrats.
Oh yeah, he's losing it.

Even Joe Scarborough senses it.
Well, he could always just resign.

Aside from busily trying to take healthcare away from the poor did the Republicans do anything productive this year?
They just seemed stuck in the Trump vortex. If they were smart, they'd figure a way out of that spiral. They would know if they all could get their heads out of their asses, that it is a black hole.

McCain returning to Senate in time for health vote

Trump has to appear to be engaged and as if he is getting things done. He had a talk about Trump Care and it was all about the GOP slackers on health care. What a shame after he worked so hard, boo hoo little Donnie. And the "Obama victims" helped him to do his same old routine of going after former President Obama or Hillary Clinton.

QUITTING AFTER ‘UNPROFESSIONAL’ TRUMP BASHES JEFF SESSIONS

By Graham Lanktree On Monday, July 24, 2017 - 11:15

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is growing increasingly frustrated with the Trump administration and could quit before the year is through, according to reports.

Two sources familiar with Tillerson’s conversations with friends told CNN over the weekend that he has grown so frustrated with President Donald Trump and his administration that there may soon be a “Rexit.”

      Lie-berman

"McCain’s attempt to reach beyond party lines indirectly led him to one of the worst mistakes of his career. In Democratic Sen. Joe Lieberman, his “best friend in the Senate” — he saw a brother in arms (when I asked McCain in 2004 whether he’d consider joining Democrat John Kerry’s ticket, he said no, because their national security beliefs were too far apart. “But if they’d nominated Lieberman,” he added, “I’d have had a real decision to make”) and seriously considered asking the hawkish Connecticut senator to jump party lines and become his running mate. But he ultimately decided not to trust his instincts: Convinced that tapping a Democrat would trigger an all-out revolt at the convention, he and his team looked instead for a different, out-of-the-box, shock-to-the-system game changer. And they got Sarah Palin."

If Trump were to resign now, the investigations would just die out but the subversion would continue. And the danger remains that the Russian collusion could still be continuing. Kushner may or may not have known that this meeting was with a Russian government attorney who was offering dirt on Hillary Clinton. But once he got into the meeting and saw just how blatant it was, with a Russian spy on the room and a folder of documents being tossed around, he apparently realized that they were all going to end up in trouble for it. But instead of just making up an excuse for leaving, or pressing a button on his phone so it would make a noise, he bent over backward to make sure he documented that he wanted out of the meeting.

Kushner is now pointing to his email to his assistant as supposed proof that he wanted no part of what was going on in the meeting. But Kushner, a businessman, surely knows how to politely get out of a meeting in simpler fashion than emailing his assistant and waiting for the phone to ring. Instead he began trying to create an evidence of deniability trail right then and there, while he was still in the meeting, that he could point back to later. That tells you just how blatantly collusive and criminal that meeting was, as Kushner began working on his eventual legal defense while he was still sitting there.

"Only hours into the appointment of Anthony Scaramucci to the position of White House communications director, internet users were digging into his past. People resurfaced some of Scaramucci’s old tweets and took particular liking to one funny mishap. The new director posted a tweet attributing a quote to author Mark Twain that is a little hard to believe.

“Dance like no one is watching,” Scaramucci tweeted back in 2012. “Sing like no one is listening. Love like you’ve never been hurt and live like its heaven on earth. Mark Twain.” "

"“I have been amused over the last couple of years, this sense of somehow me beating up on Wall Street,” Obama replied. “I think most people on Main Street feel they got beat up on.”

The audience cheered. Scaramucci tried to interject, but Obama held him off.

“There’s a big chunk of the country that thinks that I have been too soft on Wall Street,” Obama added to more cheers. “That’s probably the majority, not the minority.”"

"“This is the start of a new party,” (no, it isn't) said Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. He added that “Democrats are unified” (no, they're not) around the new series of proposals after years of highly publicized infighting between the progressive and moderate wings of the party."

Really a shame. Keith Ellison and Howard Dean could have done wonders. Instead we get the same old same old.

"The No. 1 thing we did wrong is not present a bold, strong economic agenda to working Americans so their hope for the future might return again,” Schumer said."

No, the number 1 thing you continue to do is not listen and not support every candidate. You play it safe and only spend the least possible money on what you consider to be "sure thing" wins. And you ignore state and local elections, only thinking about national D.C. seats.

"Meanwhile, some Republicans rolled their eyes at the Democrats’ messaging event.

“Have you seen this creative, innovative, totally unique “Better Deal” messaging campaign coming the Democrats unveiled this morning for the 2018 cycle?” House Speaker Paul Ryan’s spokeswoman said in a statement, with a repeated tongue-in-cheek link to his own “A Better Way” plan.

“You might be thinking to yourself: That sounds familiar,” she continued. “I swear I’ve seen this message before. Maybe from House Republicans? Like maybe a year ago or so? I mean, who can say?”"

Dems have 8 full years, well, only 7 and 1/2 now to ponder what they will do in 2024 to change things up again. Unfortunately the GOP is large, in charge, and absolutely ensconced in teflon for the next 8 years, but kids who are 11 now will be able to vote in 2024.

What will they desire? Will they be happy with what the GOP has made of America, or will they revolt?

The next 8 years will be frustrating, just like the Bush II years, but hopefully the youth will have a different outlook and vote in progressives in 7 years. I don't hold out a lot of hope for them though because they are products of a failing educational system so I'd bet high dollar that they juts keep things as they are now.

Hope I'm wrong, but look around you at the tweens and their disinterest in anything not electronic or gaming based. This is what alienates voters.

This is going to lose Democrats any chance of taking back any seats in 2018, 2020, 2022, 2024.

Until all of these dinosaurs die and make room for some young and innovative leaders, the Dems will continue to lose and be a laughingstock.

Of course, we don't have that much time. In a few more years the Death Party will have consolidated power, put conservatives in life-time appointments and rigged the system so they will stay in power.
