Bill Cosby, whose sexual assault case resulted in a mistrial, will be giving town halls on how to avoid being accused of sexual assault. I have an idea.

Courtesy of WaPo:

Just days after a judge declared a mistrial in Bill Cosby’s sexual assault case, his publicists have revealed what he plans to do next — a national tour educating young people on sexual assault — specifically, on how to avoid getting accused of sexual assault.

“Mr. Cosby wants to get back to work,” spokesman Andrew Wyatt told an Alabama TV anchor Wednesday morning. “We are now planning town halls.”

“Really?” responded the WBRC Fox 6 News anchor in Birmingham.

There was a hint of skepticism in the anchor’s voice, which ballooned into full incredulousness from women’s groups and victims’ advocates Thursday when news of Cosby’s plans began to spread.

“It would be more useful if Mr. Cosby would spend time talking with people about how not to commit sexual assault in the first place,” Jodi Omear, vice president of communications for the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network (RAINN) told Newsweek.

As Wyatt explained it, these town halls will educate young people and married men on the law and the dangers they face from accusations of sexual assault.

You ever read anything that seems so crazy that you cannot believe it's true?

Because that seems to be happening to me all of the time lately.

When I first heard about this I had the obvious reaction on Twitter.
I don't know, just seems logical to me.

But no in this age of Trump, this man is literally going to be talking about how young people, mostly men I'm guessing, can avoid being "accused" of sexual assault as if this is something that happens all of the time through no fault of their own.

So I assume his talk will not include, "Hey don't drug their drinks and then rape them."

But will be more along the lines of "Hey once you drug their drinks and then rape them, make sure to wipe off any fingerprints and remove all traces of your DNA."

Jesus, what the hell is happening to our world?

  1. Last week, the word was the deadlocked jury was 10 to 2 for guilty. Given how quickly the prosecution announced they would retry, this is both an arrogant and stupid intent on Cosby's part, and I doubt his lawyers thought it a good idea.

Did you know that of the original 12 seated, voting jurors in the Simpson criminal trial, 22 years ago, only one could offer a reasonably articulate understanding of what DNA was?

Last November 8, naive liberals got an ice water lesson of what happens when intelligent voters stay home. The Cosby matter, like Simpson, is a lesson in what happens when those same intelligent citizens seek ways to duck jury duty.

He's trying a page from Trump's book. They are probably more alike than different. Not very bright but very arrogant.

I'm not sayin' my ex was paranoid, but he never never never closed the door to his office (he was a prof). He said once an accusation of sexual misconduct was made, his career would be over whether there was anything inappropriate or not. So if Cosby wants to lecture on appropriate conduct fine. How to avoid getting caught? That's sick.

I heard a few professors say that when i was in college. This was 2002-06
I know why they did that now.

For years, this arrogant prick got away with not only drugging women but raping them as well.

Of course he thinks he can go on a lecture circuit and spread the word because he got away with it for decades.

Sixty women have come forward to tell similar stories about how twisted this man is. Sixty women!!

Bill Cosby is one sick bastard and his wife, Camille, is his biggest enabler. I'm sure B.C. is writing a book with the same claim of innocence.

I'm shaking my head in disbelief, too.

Will this be a 'no girls allowed' kind of tour? Because I know a lot of girls who would love to attend. Oh, the audience participation...can you just imagine??

For additional credibility The Coz needs to have John and Lorena Bobbit and Joey Buttafuoco and Amy Fisher accompany him for these lectures.

Lorena Bobbit was a victim of repeated marital rape. Her husband would beat and anally rape her.

Amy Fisher was a minor who was taken advantage of by a grown-ass, married man who also gave the teen an incurable STD. He also played some fucked up head games with the youngster.

Joey B and John B are both fair game for that tour. Both have a nasty sense of entitlement when it comes to their weenies. Just like Rapist Cosby.
